Canterbury Shake (2013) for violin, bassoon and piano
for the Encounters Trio

Written at the request of my friend Maria Isaak for her trio, I wanted to give each member of the trio something unexpected - the violin is played pretty much as a fiddle, the bassoon never gets a bassline, and the whole thing is swung.
